April, EASTER and The Beef Jerky Bunny?
Welcome to April! Spring Showers and flowers popping up and little buds on the trees as nature comes alive. This weekend is Easter and the Beef Jerky Bunny just hopped by the house last evening with a new, fresh YUMMY batch of Mild Beef jerky. Nom, Nom, Nom, NOM, NOM, NOM!!!! I couldn't wait to chomp down on a few pieces!!

Going RETAIL and Latest News
Hi!
We're closing in on getting the credit card ordering back end of the web page up and running. Soon. Please be patient. We'll be working on it again this weekend!
In other news, the NASA Goddard Employees Welfare Store (GEWA) at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center has accepted our product for retail sales!!
Not only have we done great there so far, we sold out of our first order of product in two weeks and I had to deliver another order to them this morning!!
That means that total strangers must think we have a good product, packaging and are willing to try Chip's Jerky!! YAY!!!!! And that's a good thing.
I am slowly working on getting it to other shops and retail locations and we will post those locations when we have our product out there for sale.

We have JERKY!!!
Howdy!
We received our second small "test" batch of jerky Monday.
It is GREAT! (Maybe better than my homemade jerky! {;-P )
I do have a very limited quantity, right now, so I'll try to get it to those of you that what to try our jerky.
Our current pricing is:
$9 for a quarter pound (4 oz bag) of Mild Jerky. or
$9 for a quarter pound (4 oz bag) of Spicy Jerky.
If you're not sure and want to try each flavor, we can put together a SAMPLE PACK of a 2 oz package of each flavor, Mild Jerky and Spicy Jerky for $9.
We will ship your jerky U.S.P.S. Priority Mail after payment is received.
We will compute your shipping and handling cost depending on the weight of your shipment.
Just to make things easier for you, we have included the Sales Tax in the cost of each bag, so it's still a great value for an All Natural, Lower Sodium product.
If you're interested in ordering some jerky, send me an e-mail and I'll get right back to you.
We have gone ahead and ordered a large follow up batch so we hope to have plenty of jerky for anyone that wants to purchase some. We hope to be able to have that shipped from the manufacturer and in our hands in the next few weeks.
We are also working with our bank, credit card e-commerce company and web master to get our on-line ordering up and running, so bear with us and check back often. We're working hard to go live as quickly as possible.

We’re CLOSE!!

Hey folks!
Just wanted you to know that I’m waiting to hear back from the manufacturer on shipping our first test batch. Should be today or soon in the next day or two.
We switched the ordering date to September.
We have almost everything in place but we have to chomp on a few pieces of jerky first before we let loose on you, John and Jane Q Public. I want to make sure we’ve got it right!
I know that many of you are standing by patiently, with your mouth watering, and I’m pushing, and pushing to get it going, but I’m also going to take the time to do it right. I’m sure you’ll be pleased, in the end.

I know that we have a July 2008 date to go public on the web page but, as you can imagine, some of the things that happen with getting a small business up and running may delay this time slightly.
